1: Magic Bullet NutriBullet 12-Piece High-Speed Blender/Mixer System

best blender for smoothies-(Magic Bullet)

Price: $119.99 ($69.99 last checked on 7/14/16 12:39pm)

Not only my personal favorite blender system, but our number one pick for the perfect smoothie blender! Let’s first take a look at what’s included with this blender. We have a power base, 1 tall cup, 2 short cups, 1 flat blade and 1 emulsifying blade, 2 re-sealable lids, pocket nutritionist and manual with recipes. The power base is a monster, clocking in at 600W, and easily liquefies most ingredients from kale and carrots, to even flax seeds. It’s not a juicer, so some pulp still remains, but your smoothies will come out smooth as silk. The cups, the tall and short cups, are not only reservoirs for the blender, but can be used themselves to drink whatever it is you have made. The first blade is what you’ll be using to power through your smoothie ingredients; the flat blade is great for grinding small grains and seeds like flax seeds and walnuts. The second blade is used to blend different juices and liquids. Using it is extremely easy, you just snap it in, and liquefy. And cleaning it is just as simple, takes 5 minutes to fully clean out and put away the NutriBullet. There are many complaints about the NutriBullet leaking during the blending process, but as long as you follow the instructions, and not overfill the machine, it won’t leak. The price is a bit steep, but if you can fit it in your budget, this is the best blender for your money.

2: Oster BLSTPB-WBL My Blend 250-Watt Blender with Travel Sport Bottle

best blender for smoothies-(Oyster)

Price: $24.99 ($19.99 last checked on 7/14/16 12:47PM)

The Oster My Blend, while not my top pick, is one of my favorite. One might immediately notice it’s price-point, the cheapest blender on the list. But don’t let that fool you into thinking that it’s cheap, it’ll perfectly fit your needs. It’s a quick and easy blend, with the reservoir being a travel bottle that you can take with you. This blender is very compact, saving you lots of counter space. Using it is easy as well, you just press down, or snap it into place for hands-free blending. However, this blender is only to be used to fruit and veggie smoothies, it can’t process nuts and seeds. Despite that, it can easily blend ice, as long as there is plenty of liquid inside it. perfect for blending smoothies. So It get’s the job done, and to top it all off, it’s available in a wide range of beautiful colors.

3: Nutri Ninja Pro (BL456)

best blender for smoothies-(Nutri Ninja)

Price: $75.81

Many compare the Nutri Ninja and the Nutri Bullet smoothie blenders, constantly asking which one is better. The answer, is based purely on preference. The Nutri Ninja sports many features of the Nutri Bullet, such as the 900w motor base, which provides reliable power to easily blend those frozen fruits and veggies. It also comes with an 18 oz. and 24 oz. to go cup, 2 sip & seal lids, and a 75 recipe book. There is one key feature I like about the Nutri Ninja;  the fact that it has an auto-shutoff feature, which makes sure you don’t accidentally leave your blender on, which can be critically devastating to your blender. Another great feature, not unlike the Nutri Bullet, is that the pitcher, blades, Nutri Ninja cups and lids are all dishwasher safe. While it’s price is a bit bulky, you’ll be getting your money’s worth out of it.

4: Epica Personal smoothie Blender with Take-Along Bottle

best blender for smoothies-(Epica)

Price: $69.95 ($29.95 last checked on 7/14/16 12:52PM)

The Epica smoothie blender has a few features that other blenders don’t provide. The first feature is it’s ability to blend both hot and cold products, and it’s 20-oz. mixer jar which doubles as a take-long bottle with drinking spout lid, is able to keep both cold and hot to optimum temperature, letting it do more than just make smoothies and shakes. The second feature is it’s 2-year warranty. If you are like me, even if you believe your product to be perfect, having a warranty to back you up provides a sort of reassurance, just in case something goes wrong. And at 2 years, double what others provide, you’ll be thinned out or bulked up, whatever your goal is, by the time something goes wrong. The only downside to this blender is it was not made to blend ice into your smoothies, so do so at your own discretion. However, it’s an overall great blender.
